2015 Buccino Scholar Selected

Gerald P. Buccino, Ph.D., a Seton Hall University and Stillman School of Business alumnus as well as prominent Leadership Council member, offers a single four year scholarship of up to $5,000 annually to one freshman in the Leadership Development Honors Program. Along with scholarship, the recipients receive personal mentoring and leadership coaching from Dr. Buccino during their undergraduate and post-graduate career. The relationship created with both Dr. Buccino and the past Buccino scholars is of high personal and professional quality.

Each year, several freshman are selected to interview for the scholarship based on merit and involvement to the Program. This year’s Leadership Class of 2015 nominees for this prestigious award were: Alison Kruse, Brian McSherry, M. Emmett Nelson, Tyler Orner, Sheena Shah, and Matthew Ullrich – all of whom deserve recognition and honor.

Dr. Buccino’s praise for the nominees is captured in his words: “They are all incredibly talented and passionate individuals who will be highly successful in their professional and personal life.” Dr. Buccino complimented the nominees for their academic excellence and the unique gifts and talents they possess. They represent our Leadership Development Program’s highest standards and values of academic, leadership and performance excellence.

Dr. Buccino awarded this year’s Buccino Scholarship to Alison Kruse. Ali is congratulated on her outstanding achievement. The Leadership Team and Buccino “family” wish her and her fellow nominees continued success as everyone continues their leadership journey together.
