How can an iPad be used effectively as part of classroom instruction? Or as a content prep tool? Just doing a Google search or searching in the App Store will bring up thousands of apps labeled as educational, but what does that mean? And are those apps actually useful beyond a passing trend?
This blog will attempt to answer these questions and others that come up along the way by:
- providing app recommendations for your use
- posting polls to hear what you like/don’t like/want to see more of
- examples of how iPads are being used in the classroom
- tech tips
- articles trending around iPads in education
And if I may ask of you in return to:
- respond to polls
- comment on posts and/or apps – tell me what did you like? didn’t like? How did you implement in your classroom?
- send me links to articles you are seeing, apps you want to test out but don’t have the time, I can try it out and give you the low down!
Together we can create a useful resource tool for pre-service and veteran teachers for modeling and using technology in the classroom.
