This week’s “Trip of the Week(ender)” is a visit to the XRoots Fest 2017 right here in South Orange. From 2:00 to 5:00, “it is the area’s biggest and best multicultural festival. Musicians, dancers, story-tellers, merchants and food vendors rooted in the cultures of four continents.” Bring a big appetite and a little pocket money. Not all vendors take debit/credit cards.
Flood’s Hill is a quick walk from campus. Walk up South Orange Avenue towards downtown, and turn right onto the footpath across from the Exxon station, between Ridge Tire and the Village Service Center. Flood’s hill will be on your left after you pass the duck pond.
