On February 19, a bus filled with Diplomacy faculty and students went to New York for UNA-USA Members Day. Some 800 members listened to panels on climate, refugees, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Security Council. Several students got the chance to attend the noon briefing by the Office of the Spokesperson of the Secretary General, and our own campus chapter president Gabriela Taveras briefed the room on our recent Campus-Wide Teach-In on the Sustainable Development Goals. Gabriela’s remarks are here and start at the 1:28 minute mark.
