Student Tech Bytes
The Tech Bytes series is comprised of hands-on sessions, focusing on increasing your productivity. Student Tech Bytes sessions run on Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 – 4:30, and again on Friday morning from 11:00 – 12:00. A majority of sessions are offered four times this semester!

Technology Open Lab
One-stop-shop to answer your technology questions! Have a question on how to set up your Seton Hall University email on your phone? Interested in learning more about Windows 10? Want to know how to use OneDrive for Business to back up your files? Interested in learning more about Office 365? Then this session is for you!

3D Design / Printing – level 1: TinkerCad
Learn the basics of constructing a 3D model with TinkerCad – a free web-based software. Participants will have the opportunity to submit their 3D models for printing.

Introduction to Fusion360 from Autodesk – software available as a free download. Participants will have an opportunity to work on building a 3D model of their own design.

Collaborate, Share, and Communicate with Microsoft Teams
Office 365 Teams provides a chat-centered collaborative workspace in Office 365, bringing people, conversations, files, and tools into one place so everyone has instant access to all of the team resources and discussions.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Create a Team
- Add team members (participants)
- Create channels for focused discussions
- Schedule a (virtual) team meeting – aka video conference call
- Add tabs to create working spaces, such as a wiki

See how Zotero can assist in organizing your citations and bibliographies. During this session, participants will be able to download and install this free software, import citations from the Seton Hall University Library database, and generate a bibliography in multiple formats (APA, MLA, Chicago, …).

Microsoft Office Mix: PowerPoint Gets Interactive
Have you ever wanted to create a short video highlighting your skills for an internship or job interview? Microsoft Office Mix, available as a free download, allows users to record their voice over a PowerPoint screen, record their computer screen, and add digital ink annotations from within the familiar Microsoft PowerPoint application to produce a video.
Session participants will have an opportunity to create a recording, and post it on YouTube or Vimeo for viewing.

Microsoft Excel is an incredibly powerful tool. This session will cover some of the basics of working with an Excel spreadsheet, as well as advanced tips and tricks for manipulating and displaying your data.
