MakerSpace Corner – July 2015
The Seton Hall community has been busy during this year’s Mozilla #MakerParty. We kicked off the party on Friday, June 17th when several pre-med students came to the CTC to learn about 3D printing. The group completed the Custom Nametag project, learning some coding skills in addition to the 3D printing.
Members of the TLT Center also created projects involving memes, circuits, Raspberry Pi, and upcycling bottle caps. Instructional Designer, Riad Twal, came up with his own project and used 3D printing to develop an antenna to use as an Amateur Radio Operator. Learn about the process for developing a project from idea to prototype to usable piece through his post on the MakerSpace blog.
While the Mozilla Maker Party came to a close on July 31st we are still having fun at Seton Hall. If you did not get a chance to try out a project in July let’s keep the party going and make something today. *Don’t forget to share your projects on social media using #SHUmake!
