Online Learning Corner
August marks the end of summer and start of the fall semester. Those teaching online courses know how difficult it is to keep up with the weekly discussions, emails, papers etc.
Dr. Aitken offers a few strategies for managing her time more effectively while staying engaged and meeting her feedback deadlines in online courses. For example, Aitken suggests posting class messages at least once a week and keeps a messages folder so she can reuse them.
The Seton Hall community has been busy during this year’s Mozilla #MakerParty. We kicked off the party on Friday, June 17th when several pre-med students came to the CTC to learn about 3D printing. Members of the TLT Center also created projects involving memes, circuits, Raspberry Pi, and upcycling bottle caps. Instructional Designer, Riad Twal, came up with his own project and used 3D printing to develop an antenna to use as an Amateur Radio Operator.
