This workshop, held on May 29, kicked off Summer Series 2013. The day was led by Dr. Michael Vigorito, Director of University Assessment Center at Seton Hall and Professor in the Department of Psychology. In the workshop, participants participated in a demonstration of the i>clicker Audience Response System and had an opportunity to use the iClicker device and web version to experience first-hand how the tool works. In addition, we discussed various levels of assessment, including university, program, course, and student, and how the iClicker system can facilitate these assessment initiatives. Dr. Paige Fisher, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at SHU, was a guest speaker and shared her experience using iClickers in her undergraduate psychology courses. Finally, data output options and other use case scenarios were presented and discussed. Participants left with a better understanding of the ways in which this tool and other strategies can support their own assessment goals. Links to workshop resources are provided below. Be sure to join us for another Summer Series event on Wednesdays through July!
