This afternoon at approximately 11:45 AM the campus lost its connection to the Internet. This caused all campus services, including the Web site, email, PirateNet, and Banner to be unavailable from off campus. On campus users were unable to access Internet sites such as Google or Facebook. Internet service was restored at approximately 1:15 PM. The outage was caused by a problems with the campus firewall. University IT Service is investigating the cause of this incident.
