Commencement Countdown Events (100 days & 50 days)
Senior Class Gift
The Philanthropy Committee manages the Senior Class Gift. Seniors are asked to contribute a gift of $20.14 which can be directed to a particular school with Seton Hall, towards scholarship funds, or other destinations. The duties for this position entail marketing the Class Gift and recruiting seniors to participate. Additional responsibilities include creating an installing a rewards program for seniors who participate in the Senior Class Gift
The Marketing and Advertising Committee informs the Senior Class community of the Senior Class Council’s goals. This includes advertising Class Council events through visual media around campus, social media, interactions with the various campus publications, and other necessary means.
- Events Planning
The Events Planning Committee plans and coordinates events and activities for the Senior Class. In past years, events have included the Commencement Ball, champagne toast, senior barbeque, trips to Atlantic City, and many others. Responsibilities include developing event ideas, coordinating with sites/vendors, pricing, and logistical coordination
- Community Engagement
The Community Engagement Committee promotes the Senior Class Council’s endeavors through existing Seton Hall networks. Duties include interactions with clubs and organizations throughout campus to promote attendance and involvement in Senior Class Council events.
- Senior Series
The Senior Class Council, in coordination with the Young Alumni Club and other campus organizations, will be hosting a series of events helping seniors transition from college to professional life. Examples of events include an etiquette dinner, formal and informal networking events, and LinkedIn tutorials, among others. The Senior Series Committee plans, develops, and coordinates event operations for this series. Responsibilities include lining up alumni participants, collaborating with the Young Alumni Club and other partner organizations, and logistical coordination
