The Mapping New Brunswick Memories Project is a collaboration between Rutgers undergraduate students, George Street Playhouse, and community members from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Using oral histories that were conducted as part of the George Street Playhouse’s “Our Town Now” project, this website contains five virtual tours that connect individuals’ memories to sites across the city. Our hope is that these curated strolls down memory lane will inspire New Brunswick residents, Rutgers students, and interested members of the public to think critically about how the past is embedded in the landscape itself.<\/p>\n
