Health Career Connection (HCC) offers ten-week, full-time summer internships from mid-June through mid-August. Interns are paid educationawertyuil and training stipends of approximately $300 – $450 per week. Through internship sponsors, HCC places qualified candidates in leading California (San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles/San Diego, San Joaquin Valley), New England, New York, and New Jersey health care and public health organizations. Efforts are made to accommodate intern health interests, geographic preferences, and skill sets in finalizing placements. HCC offers internship placements in Hospitals, Clinics, Health Plans, Policy-based Agencies, Health Advocacy, Medical Groups, Public Health Departments, Community Health Organizations, Foundations and Consulting Firms. Interns work with senior and program managers to understand the organization’s strategy and operations, work on important projects, develop valuable professional networks, and attend events.
