Joseph W. Andrushkiw Competition

The Joseph W. Andrushkiw Competition is an annual mathematics problem-solving competition for New Jersey high school students that is sponsored and hosted by the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Seton Hall University.  Cash prizes are awarded to the top five students: $200 for First Price, $100 for Second Price, $50 for Third Price, and $25 each for 4th and 5th Place.  Plaques are also awarded for the five highest team scores. 32nd Annual Competition (2017)

This year, 132 students from 15 NJ high schools participated. The individual winners were:

  2. Daniel Kim (Bergen County Academy)
  3. Derek Zhang (Bergen County Academy)
  4. Cheng Qing Zhong (Secaucus H.S.)
  5. Jessica Lee (Bergen County Academy)
