This website hosts projects developed for an Introduction to Digital Humanities course taught at Seton Hall University by Dr. Mary Balkun.
The course is designed to introduce students to the background, theories, issues, and methods of the digital humanities. It begins with an overview of DH and proceeds to emerging practices, theoretical underpinnings, and disciplinary paradigms of the field. A series of tutorials provide hands-on experience with a range of digital humanities tools. The course culminates in a final project and grant proposal for that project.
Projects are organized by year.
