Two years ago, we added a Video category; last year, we expanded the student range to include grades 7 and 8; this year, we have added a visual arts component as a third way to participate.<\/p>\n<p>Please familiarize yourself with the information we provide here and share it with your students as we would be very happy to consider their submissions.\u00a0 Please encourage them to participate.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes are awarded to First Place and Honorable Mention winners in each category and each grade.This year, the deadline for submissions is <strong>Friday, February 6, 2026. <\/strong>Winners will be announced on <strong>March 13, 2026, <\/strong>and will be recognized at the Celebration of Education Celebration at Seton Hall University on <strong>Sunday, April 19, 2026. <\/strong>The families and teachers of winners are strongly encouraged to attend this wonderful event.<\/p>\n<p>Information about this year&#8217;s competition is provided as follows:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the 2026 Sister Rose Thering Fund Literary, Digital &amp; Visual Arts Competition for Middle School &amp; High School Students!
