Andrews, master\u2019s student, accepted the Operations Advisor position for the University\u2019s Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.\u00a0 Sarah is an alumna of the Beta Lambda Chapter in Stevens Point, WI.<\/p>\n<p>Katherine Aquino, doctoral candidate, will attend the Association on Higher Education and Disability\u2019s (AHEAD) upcoming conference titled \u201cToward Equity &amp; Access: Illuminating the Pathways AHEAD\u201d.\u00a0 Katie had two posters accepted for presentation, including<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disability\u2014Diversity Development: Investigating the Role of the Postsecondary Administrator<\/li>\n<li>Postsecondary Students Receiving SSI\/SSDI: Impact of Academic Achievement on Job Attainment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dr. Gerard Babo, Assistant Professor, received the College of Education and Human Services\u2019 Teacher of the Year distinction.\u00a0 He will be recognized later this semester at a University-wide gathering honoring excellence in teaching and research.<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie Benson, doctoral student, will present at the Tri-States Best Practices Conference on March 5 at Bergen Community College.\u00a0 Stephanie will make a presentation titled \u201cUsing the NGSS to Enhance Critical Thinking and Analysis Skills in High School Biology Students.\u201d John Irwin, doctoral student, recently published two articles-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Irwin, J., (in press). Academic libraries, veterans, and for-profit higher education: Exploiting the vulnerable. Progressive Librarian.<\/li>\n<li>Rose-Wiles, L., &amp; Irwin, J. (in press). An old horse revived? A preliminary study of in-house use of print books at Seton Hall University. Journal of Academic Librarianship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Daria Pizzuto, doctoral student, presented a poster, \u201cEngaging Your Student: Exploring Evidence-Based Strategies\u201d at the Conference in Higher Education Pedagogy,\u201d at Virginia Tech on February 10-12.<\/p>\n<p>Your name here!
