Ben Jaros: Senior Editor & Founder

Ben is a junior studying Economics and Philosophy.  He is the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council at Seton Hall, and a student member of the Newman Association of America.  Outside of his academic and theological interests, he is a weightlifting coach at Run Jump Lift CrossFit in South Orange and has been lifting for sport over the past five years.

Kiersten Lynch: Managing Editor, Graphic Designer, & Contributing Writer

Kiersten is in the Master of Arts program in English with a focus in Writing. She likes to write various kinds of genres and plans to become a Medical Writer.  In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, spending time with her family, and running Campus Ministry events.

Anthony Tokarz: Contributing Writer

Anthony is a senior at Seton Hall University, where he studies International Relations and Economics. In addition to English, he is fluent in Polish, Spanish, and Latin. Once a student of Buddhism and Stoicism, Anthony returned to the Catholic Church by praying the Rosary.

Jen Hobeika: Contributing Writer

Jen is a senior studying Biology and double-minoring in Psychology and Catholic Studies. She plans on pursuing nursing for graduate school and eventually working for an NGO like the Peace Corps. In her free time, you can find her hiking, adventuring to cafes and books stores with friends, and volunteering at her local soup kitchen.

Mario Damasceno: Contributing Writer

Mario is a senior Management/I.T. major in the Stillman School of Business, specializing in Supply Chain Management. His passion for continuous improvement and international business drives his post-graduate aspirations to own and operate a global enterprise mitigating waste from supply chains while enhancing the lives of stakeholders.

Brendan Finnegan: Contributing Writer

Brendan is a junior finance major in the Stillman School of Business, hailing from South Windsor, Connecticut. On campus, Brendan is an active member of the Gerald P. Buccino ’63 Center for Leadership Development and the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

Emma Newgarden: Content Editor & Contributing Writer

Emma Newgarden is a freshman Classical Studies major from Staten Island, NY. On campus, she is a writer for both The Heart of the Hall and The Stillman Exchange. She also runs on Seton Hall’s cross-country team. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading fantasy novels and coming up with new recipes.

Francis J. Hunter: Content Editor

Frank is a junior Classical Studies and English major, minor in Latin interested in pursuing a career in teaching Latin and English Literature. His specific academic interests are in the Biblia Sacra Vulgata and Classical and Biblical symbolism in English literature. Frank volunteers as an EMT with the West Essex First Aid Squad and teaches Catechism at St. Thomas More Church.

Bridgette Favale: Copy Editor

Bridgette studies English as a freshman at Seton Hall University. She hopes to continue editing and writing during and after her years in college. When she moved to school, she began to spend her free time praying at night prayer and joining an Omega group run by Father Philip and Brother John Paul.

Nathaniel Valyo: Contributing Writer

Nathaniel is a sophomore studying Economics and IT Management. He is a student sacristan, leader of a FOCUS Bible study, and a member of the Leadership Development Honors Program. On campus, you can find him with friends in the Campus Ministry lounge, playing basketball in the gym, or singing with his a cappella club, the Gentlemen of the Hall.

Christian Gonzalez: Contributing Writer

Christian is a Graduate student in History from River Edge, New Jersey. He plans to teach Social Studies at the high school level. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoys playing the guitar and piano.

Kiley Britton: Contributing Writer

Kiley is a senior studying Diplomacy and International Relations as well as Catholic Studies. She has been involved in different ministerial groups on campus and hopes to pursue a career that is a blend of her degrees. When she isn’t running, you can find her reading, hiking or rock climbing.
