{"id":63,"date":"2012-05-09T12:27:48","date_gmt":"2012-05-09T16:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/fundingopportunities\/?p=63"},"modified":"2012-05-09T12:27:48","modified_gmt":"2012-05-09T16:27:48","slug":"fy12-dod-orthopaedic-and-spinal-cord-injury-pre-announcements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/fundingopportunities\/2012\/05\/09\/fy12-dod-orthopaedic-and-spinal-cord-injury-pre-announcements\/","title":{"rendered":"FY12 DOD Orthopaedic and Spinal Cord Injury Pre-announcements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Fiscal Year 2012 (FY12) Defense Appropriations Act provides research funding for peer reviewed Defense Health Programs executed by the Department of Defense (DOD) office of Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).<\/p>\n<p>This e-mail is to notify the research community of the recently released pre-announcements from the following research programs:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Peer Reviewed Orthopaedic Research Program (PRORP)<br \/>\n\u00b7 Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brief descriptions of each of the funding opportunities for each of these programs can be found in the respective program\u2019s pre-announcement on the CDMRP website at http:\/\/cdmrp.army.mil. As further funding opportunities become available, additional announcements will be released on the CDMRP website.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Comprehensive program announcements are expected to be released in May\/early June 2012.
