Proposals must include a partnership with an arts organization and local government entity. Supported projects include arts engagement, cultural planning and design, with descriptions of the categories as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Arts engagement<\/em>: Public arts, festivals and performances and interactive programming that fosters cultural and community assets<\/li>\n<li><em>Cultural planning<\/em>: Creative asset mapping, cultural district planning, creating community wide strategies for public arts and support for creative entrepreneurship<\/li>\n<li><em>Design<\/em>: Designing, studios, cultural spaces, public spaces, community engagement activities or housing for artists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are due by January 14, 2013.
