Up to 450 applicants from across the nation will be selected for the award.<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants can follow this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/pubs\/2017\/nsf17050\/nsf17050.jsp?WT.mc_id=USNSF_25&amp;WT.mc_ev=click\">link<\/a>\u00a0for additional information regarding eligibility and the application process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each year NSF selects nominees for the PECASE from among the most meritorious recent \u201cCAREER\u201d awardees.
