Proposals must address at least one of the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biological basis of symptoms and their management<\/li>\n<li>Mechanistic studies of environmental risk factors<\/li>\n<li>Endocrinological influence on disease activity and progression<\/li>\n<li>Co-morbidities and their impact on disease activity and progression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The maximum award period is two years and the maximum allowable direct costs for this period are $400,000 plus indirect costs. The pre-application submission deadline is June 18, 2013, while the final application submission deadline is September 17, 2013.
