This joint program between the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAD) and the National Institute of Aging (NIA) seeks to develop a better understanding of how age changes the immunological system and how this affects immune responses to infection and vaccines. Proposals can’t extend past five years and can receive up to $300,00 in direct costs per year.
