The Tinker Foundation Institutional Grants Program aims to create effective policy changes to improve the lives of Latin Americans. Proposals must address one of the following five areas of interest:

  • Democratic Governance
  • Education
  • Sustainable Resource Management
  • U.S. Policy Towards Latin America
  • Antarctica Science and Policy

Projects should have a strong public policy component, offer innovative solutions to problems facing these regions, and incorporate new mechanisms for addressing these programmatic areas. Activities may include, but are not restricted to, research projects, workshops and conferences related to the Foundation’s areas of interest. Applications are due March 1 and September 15 annually.
