The APS offers short-term residential fellowships for conducting research in its collections. Subject areas include: early American history and culture; American Indian Language; 18th and 19th-century natural history; anthropology, biochemistry, physiology, and biophysics; 20th-century medical research; genetics and eugenics; and modern physics. The fellowship provides a stipend of $2,500 a month and lasts for one to three months. Applications are due March 1, 2013. For more information, see the link below:
