The Kazanijan Foundation funds programs that promote economic literacy in the United States. The foundation affords special attention to projects that:
- Raise the public’s understanding of and participation in economic education
- Create a greater demand for economic literacy
- Apply new online and web-based strategies for teaching economics
- Encourage more effective and more frequent measurement of economic understanding
- Help disenfranchised youth or other populations at risk for leaving school to participate in the economic system
The average grant size is $22,000, though grants from as small as $3,500 to as large as $150,000 have been awarded in the past. Applications are due annually on September 15 and February 15. For more information, see the link below:
