The Computing Education for the 21st Century (CE21) aims to develop greater interest in computing during K-12 education, especially among underrepresented groups like women, African-Americas and the disabled. CE21 has three tracks:

  • Computing Education Research (CER) proposals contribute to the creation of effective tools for teaching and learning computing.
  • CS 10K proposals support efforts to implement rigorous computing courses in 10,000 high schools.
  • Broadening Participation (BP) proposals expand knowledge of teaching and learning methods that can reach underrepresented groups in the computing field.

The length and value of awards will vary depending on the availability of funds. Proposals are due March 13, 2013. For more information, see the link below:
