The National Science Foundation is offering various awards to help doctoral students improve the quality of their research. Awards do not over the full cost of dissertation research, but are designed to fund field studies or other items not available through the student’s university. A wide variety of subjects are covered, including: Political Science, Documenting Endangered Languages, Geography & Spatial Sciences, Physical Anthropology, Law & Social Sciences, Statistics, Decision, Risk & Management Sciences, Biological Anthropology and Sociology.
