A joint program between the Division of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) and National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) is offering up to $400,000 per year (for a 3-5 year period) for research in mathematics and statistics that answers questions in the biological and biomedical sciences. Both organizations place a high value on promoting collaboration between the mathematical and life sciences. This program aims to foster new cooperation and strengthen it where it already exists.
