Examine how this word is used in her times and ours by studying the word in OED.\u00a0 Explore any thematic ties or character analysis you may be led to following this word and its trajectory in the novel.\u00a0 Alternately,\u00a0 analyze a significant passage or section of a chapter where you see the author using free indirect speech, or a double-speak underlying a satiric intention. What larger implications about the novel and its themes can you draw from this? Explain.<\/p>\n<p>The length of the work should be no less than 3 pages and no more than 5 pages. You must use both parenthetical citations and a Works Cited page according to MLA guidelines to give textual support for your explication and\/or analysis.
