The network in Turrell Manor was connected to the campus via a wireless bridge. This weekend the wireless bridge failed. University IT Services provided limited network service via the campus wireless network, but this reduced the bandwidth available to Turrell Manor. This afternoon University IT Services upgraded the Internet connection to Turrell Manor through the local cable provider. This gives Turrell Manor about ten times the bandwidth available through the wireless bridge.
