Student Disability Awareness

Student Disability Awareness (SDA) is a newly formed organization on campus.
It’s primary goals are: to reach out, connect and support SHU students who have disabilities either temporary, or permanent; To serve as an informational resource on campus for SHU’s students with disabilities; To participate in awareness raising activities (walks, fund-raising, volunteerism) that increase knowledge of issues relating to disability ;To focus on the development, administration, and coordination of programs and services that help eliminate barriers of any type (e.g., physical programmatic, attitudinal or electronic; To encourage personal growth and increase effective communication for students registered with the Office of Disability Support Services.
