Chinese Student and Scholars Association

CSSA is dedicated to offer an opportunity to overseas Chinese to build their friendship, exchange ideas and promote Chinese culture. Our organization exists to help Chinese students find a home at Seton Hall University. To do this we seek to bring Chinese students together for meetings, trips, and events that will help them to connect with other Chinese students to help them adjust to the University as well as thrive in their new life here. We also seek to find ways to share our Chinese language and culture with the larger student body. Our meetings, trips and events are also open to the student body in order to promote a culture and language exchange that hopefully introduces students to the depth and beauty of China and the Chinese people.

Terracotta Warriors: Defenders of China’s First Emperor is now open at Discovery Times Square. The latest exhibit will run from now until August 26, 2012. I would like to offer your students and staff discounted tickets to experience this exhibition first hand. Since the descriptions/placards and audio for the exhibit are offered in English and Mandarin, it is a great opportunity for students to practice their Mandarin training.

    About the Exhibit:

Direct from China, discover the legend behind the authentic terracotta soldiers with a fascinating journey back to the days of China’s first emperor — before and after his epic rule. Marvel at the life-size warriors up close and in person, alongside an exclusive collection of over 200 treasures and artifacts from ancient China.

“The terra-cotta warriors are awesome.” says The New York Times.

For the best discounts available, purchase a group of 10+ people by contacting Tiffany Smith at 646-619-8621 or tsmith@tsxnyc.com. For individual tickets email me for a discount flyer for up to 20% off the regular ticket price. Feel free to share this flyer with as many people as you like. Visit discoverytsx.com/groupsales1 for exhibit info and pricing.
