Contemplative Teaching Reading Group<\/b><\/p>\n
Starting spring 2019, Seton Hall\u00a0faculty members are invited to join a reading group dedicated to the topic of mindfulness and contemplation\u00a0in teaching and\u00a0academic life. In keeping with this focus, the group will do a sustained reading of a single text and meet monthly throughout the semester. The intention of this reading\u00a0group is to provide faculty members with an opportunity\u00a0to cultivate more mindful, contemplative\u00a0habits of scholarship and\u00a0teaching through slow reading, group\u00a0discussion, and personal\u00a0reflection.
