From award-winning filmmaker Dan Habib comes INTELLIGENT
\nLIVES, a catalyst to transform the label of intellectual disability
\nfrom a life sentence of isolation into a life of possibility for the
\nmost systematically segregated people in America.<\/p>\n
INTELLIGENT LIVES stars three pioneering young American adults with
\nintellectual disabilities \u2013 Micah, Naieer, and Naomie \u2013 who challenge
\nperceptions of intelligence as they navigate high school, college, and the
\nworkforce. Academy Award-winning actor and narrator Chris Cooper
\ncontextualizes the lives of these central characters through the
\nemotional personal story of his son Jesse, as the film unpacks the
\nshameful and ongoing track record of intelligence testing in the U.S.
\nINTELLIGENT LIVES challenges what it means to be intelligent, and
\npoints to a future in which people of all abilities can fully participate in
