A distinguished panel of senior faculty and administrators will provide tips and tricks to help tenured faculty navigate the next steps.\u00a0 We will offer key points of advice for tenured faculty seeking promotion and for senior faculty looking to make a difference.\u00a0\u00a0 We will provide a high-level view of the reasons for promotion and structure of the rank and tenure process.\u00a0 We will discuss key points that make for both strong and weak cases for promotion and the role of the faculty evaluation process.\u00a0 We will discuss how senior colleagues can make a difference whether seeking promotion or not.\u00a0 Each panelist will provide several of their own key pieces of advice for prospective applicants.\u00a0 The format will be very informal with ample time for questions and discussion.<\/p>\n
