Prof. of History<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The first event of the spring semester in the Diversity Film Series will be a showing <em>Go<\/em> (2001, Japan). The film looks at the plight of the Korean minority in Japan, the \u201cZainichi Koreans,\u201d who have lived and worked in Japan for generations but who remain ineligible for citizenship. The showing of the film will be followed by a discussion led by Dr. Giblin-Gedacht.
