Humanities Instructor Needed at San Miguel Academy!

“San Miguel Academy of Newburgh is offering an exciting opportunity to visionary educators who want to serve underserved low opportunity boys as a Humanities Instructor. With literacy development central to our curriculum, our Humanities Courses blend literature and history using project based and place based strategies. San Miguel Academy serves boys in grades 5 through 8, and we offer a small learning environment with individual attention given to each student. Our blended learning approach allows our faculty to work collaboratively, using creativity and technology to guide student performance.

San Miguel Academy was founded in 2006. We are an independent faith based school, owned and operated by a Board of Trustees. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education.”

Certification is a plus, but not required.

If you feel that you are called to serve this mission please send your curriculum vitae to the Principal, Mrs. Kerry DiMeo, at kdimeo@newburghsanmiguel.org.
