My commitment to enhancing library instruction is reflected in my work teaching research methods in Asian Studies and providing faculty and student support through instructional sessions and reference services.<\/p>\n
My research focuses on digital humanities, information visualization, and the historical study of Asian American experiences. As a Digital Humanities Faculty Fellow, I explored innovative visualization methods for library databases to improve user accessibility and comprehension. My publications and conference presentations span library science, digital librarianship, and Asian American history, contributing to scholarly discussions in these fields.<\/p>\n
Beyond research and teaching, I have actively engaged in professional service, serving on faculty senate committees and editorial boards. I also secured grants from China Hanban to develop the Chinese Corner initiative at Walsh Library.
