Monsignor William Noe’ Field Award for Catholic New Jersey History.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

This award named in honor of the late Monsignor William Noe’ Field
\n(1915-2000), a noted rare book librarian and bibliophile is bestowed on
\nthe best publication in the field of New Jersey Catholic history produced
\nover the past two year period. \u00a0This award is open to everyone who has
\npublished anything related to the major theme including general works<\/span>,
\n(auto)biographies<\/span>, diocesan works<\/span>, institutional,<\/span> parish<\/span>, or other topics
\nrelated to Catholicism and New Jersey<\/span> between January 1, 2009 and December
\n31, 2010 is acceptable for consideration.<\/p>\n

Amount of Award
\nThe best submission will receive an award of $500.00<\/p>\n

Formats Accepted
\nBook (Academic, Popular, Specialty Presses and Self-Published), Journal
\n(Peer-Reviewed or Non Academic); Thesis, Dissertation, Monograph,
\nConference Proceedings, etc. \u00a0Other types of media will be considered if
\nthey meet the thematic qualifications outlined above.<\/p>\n

Application Criteria
\nApplicants will be required to submit two copies of their work to the
\nreview committee along with a cover letter outlining their submission in
\nbrief.<\/p>\n

Deadline
\nMaterials need to be received by the review committee by July 1, 2011.<\/p>\n

Announcement of Award
\nThe awardee will be informed of the review committee decision by September
\n1, 2011.<\/p>\n
