Pianos, Digital Pianos, Guitars & Violins Available for Public Purchase
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, March 8-10, 2013
The Music Program has had the use of new first-class pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2012-2013 year. This ongoing arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization.* These instruments, instruments provided to other institutions and instruments made available by our manufacturing partners will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and provide scholarship money for the music students.
A selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, orchestral string instruments, acoustic & electric guitars will be available from such famous manufacturers as Pramberger, Baldwin, Yamaha, Knabe, Seiler, Roland, Guild, Godin, Gretsch, Peavey, with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a full factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.
There are two ways to view and purchase:
1) BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special “pre-sale” on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 prior to the general public. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time call: (973) 275-2966.
2) You may attend the final sale day on Sunday, March 10 from Noon – 5:00 PM without an appointment.
This event will be held on campus in Corrigan Hall (near Ward Place gate). Free parking is available in the Parking Deck. For directions please call or download a map at www.shu/edu/visiting/campus-map.cfm
In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to us in our efforts to further education in the arts. I invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
