Within is the fountain of good, and it will ever bubble up, if thou wilt ever dig.” What joy to hear the praises of self-confidence! Self-confidence creates success, draws success, inspires success and attracts success. What joy to know that it is in our own hands to achieve and own it! As Benjamin Franklin, American statesman wrote: “God helps those who help themselves.”

In his video, Unbreakable Laws of Self-Confidence, Brian Tracy, motivational speak and author, states that ‘self-confidence is everything.” It is something we can develop and achieve. To give evidence of its critical importance he speaks about a friend’s research:

“A friend of mine spent 18 years studying the biographies of more than 500 men and women who had started with nothing and became successful…And he was looking for the common denominator of success. And he found it. He found that every single one of these people throughout their lives absolutely believed that they would going be a big success– They absolutely believed that they were going to be a big success when they grew up and no matter what happened to them in their adult lives and they never lost sight of that. Like the three wise men following the star the felt that everything that happened was part of the process, every setback was a lesson, every pain was something sent to teach them something that would be helpful and they never stopped believing in themselves.”

To develop self-confidence Tracy states: “So, all you need to do to raise your self-confidence, your self-esteem and your level of attainment high is to have an absolutely clear goal and work on it every single day.” To build the self-confidence needed to be successful, he suggests laws that serve to guide us:

Law of Beliefs –you believe that you must ultimately achieve this goal, unswervingly, and that belief creates your reality because you being to see the world differently.

Law of Expectations –you confidently expect that everything that happens is part of a plan to help bring you towards your goal

Law of Attraction – you attract people, ideas and circumstances into your life to help you to achieve your most important goal.

Law of Subconscious and the Law of Correspondence- your outer world corresponds to your inner world of goal-setting

Law of Sub-Conscious Activity – you continually program your subconscious mind with a clear picture of your goal and your subconscious mind arranges all your words and actions so that they fit a pattern consistent with achieving that goal

Law of Habit -You think about your goal repeatedly over and over again until it becomes a habit to wake up in the morning and think all your day about your goal

Set your sights on your goal… and your life’s purpose. Believe in it… from the bottom of your heart. Let it fill you with unquenchable passion and fire. Ralph Hodgson, English poet, wrote: “Some things have to be believed to be seen.” Let your self-confidence come alive and give you new eyes so that you continue to discover the incredible talents and gifts within you. Let its inspiration set others on fire also so that they, like you, will “set fire to the rain” and be more than they ever dreamed they could be.

Have a beautiful day and an extraordinary week!!!

Mike

To: The Great Leaders Who Have a Passion for Continuous Learning Malcolm Forbes, publisher, said: “Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.” Leib…

[3
218,217,219
post-749","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-three-minute-leadership","tag-leib-lazarow","tag-malcolm-forbes","tag-self-confidence
["GET
