Edwards Deming<\/a> adds to this writing: \u201c<i>If you don\u2019t know how to ask the right question, you discover nothing<\/i>.\u201d Great leaders understand the power of asking the \u201cright\u201d question. They know that what you ask is what you get. A simple example helps demonstrate this. When confronted with an obstacle or wall that impedes progress, the question could be asked: \u201c<i>How can I get around this wall<\/i>?\u201d A better question could be posed as: \u201c O<i>nce I get around this wall, what new wonders will I be able to realize to fulfill my dreams?<\/i>\u201d The better question creates new possibilities and better solutions.<\/p>\n<p>In his book, <a href=\"http:\/\/jkrishnamurti.org\/krishnamurti-teachings\/view-text.php?tid=28&amp;chid=56870\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Flight of the Eagle<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jiddu_Krishnamurti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jiddu Krishnamurti<\/a> tells great leaders: \u201c<i>To ask the right question is far more important than to receive the answer.
