A\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/sunday-morning\/\">CBS Sunday Morning<\/a>\u00a0special,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oxcftjJ39BU\">Cave-Digging Artist Finds Inspiration Underground<\/a><\/em>, is the story about a man\u2019s passion in life \u2013 doing what he loves, living his life\u2019s purpose and giving something to others that will change their lives forever.\u00a0\u00a0It begins with the words:\u00a0<em>\u201cIn the high desert of northern New Mexico, if you listen carefully, you just might hear something more than the wind. It is the underground sound of a man obsessed.\u00a0\u00a0His name is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ra_Paulette\">Ra Paulette<\/a>. Over the past 25 years with only his dog for company, he has been shaping and shaping New Mexico\u2019s sandstone into man-made caves of art.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The interviewer poses the question to Paulette:\u00a0<em>\u201cDo you think that you are obsessed with cave-digging?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0With a soft smile on his face, Paulette answers with his own question: \u201c<em>Would you call a child obsessed with play? You wouldn\u2019t use that word \u2018obsessed.\u2019 When you are doing something that you love, and are drawn to it, you want to do it all the time<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His response captures the joy, rapture and commitment to what he has chosen to\u00a0<em>do<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>be<\/em>\u00a0in his life. If his works take your breath away, that is just what he hoped it would do. Asked \u201c<em>If there were one simple thing that you wanted people to take away from being in one of your caves, what would it be?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0His response: \u201c<em>At least a moment or length of time in which they had a deeper feeling and understanding of themselves and life.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Great leaders are men and women of great passion. It is the tangible, living energy fed by their love, commitment and focus on their life\u2019s purpose.\u00a0\u00a0Fill your life with what your passion. Be bodacious and excited.\u00a0\u00a0Let your passion be the caves in which others will find wonder, beauty and awe.
