It rings out: \u201cTime to go to work.\u201d\u00a0 Sluggishly he responds to the droning voice.\u00a0 Intently, he braces himself for another day of drudgery.\u00a0 Later, a change has occurred.\u00a0 He is pictured awakening to the alarm clock that now greets him with the words: \u201cTime to make a difference.\u201d What a magnificent change these words produce in shaping his perspective of his new day.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;font-size: small\">Great leaders are aware of the importance of these small, but magnificent, changes that impact their own life and that of others.\u00a0 They use words like opportunity or challenge for problem.\u00a0 Failures are viewed as learnings. They choose to\u00a0<i>do<\/i>, rather than\u00a0<i>hope\u00a0<\/i>or\u00a0<i>try.<\/i>\u00a0 Their response to the question: How are you today? is not \u201cI am good.\u201d They choose to say \u201cI am great.\u201d Their words create a new world for themselves and them. These small difference stretch them and those whom they serve to new possibilities and higher levels of achievement.\u00a0 Their words excite, drive action and inspire and motivate.
