Three Minute Leadership: Curiosity

To The Great Leaders Who Have a Passion for Continuous Learning

Curiosity is the kindling fire of the ceaseless pursuit of dreams. Albert Einstein wrote: ”The important thing is not to stop questioning; curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when contemplating the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of the mystery every day. The important thing is not to stop questioning; never lose a holy curiosity.

Einstein’s words beautifully capture curiosity’s awesome richness: “contemplating the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality.” It is the continual stretching of our mind and heart out of the narrow borders of our own world view and comfort zone. It is a valued and precious gift that allows us to see the world through different eyes… to open them to undreamed of beauty and magnificence that will change our life forever.

May you live with a childish wonder of life, people and all that the world holds. May you hold closely the words of an unknown author: “There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.” Every morning, may you open your eyes to your own beautiful wonders, and search to discover even more. May you see what others have not seen, think what others have not thought and dream what others have not dreamed. These are the gifts you have within you. Never stop questioning. There is always something more.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!

Mike
